Welcome to Drovedia. In the previous article, I shared a tutorial on how to bypass FRP on the Samsung SM-A155f. In this article, I will share a tutorial on how to deal with forgetting the pattern, PINn, password, or screen lock on the Samsung A15 SM-A155f series.
Before getting into the discussion, in cases where the Samsung A15 has a forgotten pattern, PIN, password, or screen lock, the way to deal with it is the same, namely by performing a hard reset or factory reset in the settings.
This can be done without using a PC. However, the internal data stored on the phone will be lost, such as photos, contacts, videos, and so on. For those of you experiencing this case, here is the tutorial we are sharing;
- As a first step, before proceeding, try randomly drawing patterns until the attempt is temporarily paused.
- Next, press and hold the power and volume down buttons simultaneously until the screen turns off.
- After the screen turns off, immediately release volume down, then switch to volume up, while still holding power.
- After the Samsung logo appears, release the power and volume buttons
- After successfully entering Recovery, use volume down, navigate to Wipe data/Factory reset, then press power (as enter)
- Select the reset to factory settings option using volume down, then press power
- Pay attention to the screen below; observe the wipe data process that is running. If it is complete, it means it has succeeded
- Then, press Power to restart the phone, then wait for the loading process for about 1-2 minutes
- After the Welcome menu screen appears, it means all data on the phone has been erased
- Next, set up the phone (in the top left corner there is a lock icon, indicating that the phone is locked by a Google account), then click Agree
- After that, select the set up manually option until there is a reset attempt notification12. In that notification, we are required to connect the phone to the internet to perform verification (entering the Google account on the device)
- Try connecting to the network/internet, then wait for loading until the pattern screen appears14. Then, click Use my Google account, then wait for loading
- The final step: enter the Google account that was previously synchronized with the device
