Welcome to Drovedia. On this occasion, I will share how to flash the Vivo Y15s with type PD2140 or model name V2120 that is experiencing software problems, such as bootloop, stuck on logo, flash errors, or even completely dead. It can be repaired by flashing the firmware. I have tried this method of flashing the Vivo Y15s PD2140 V2120 firmware via SP FlashTool, and it successfully repaired a Vivo Y15s that was bootlooping or completely dead.
So how do you flash a completely dead / bootlooping Vivo Y15s via SP FlashTool? Read this article to the end,d and please do not be lazy about reading so that you do not misunderstand and cause the Vivo Y15s flashing process to fail.
First, temporarily disable the AntiVirus on Windows before carrying out the Vivo Y15s flashing process. For those of you who do not know how to disable the built-in Windows antivirus, please search Google.
Before carrying out the Vivo Y15s flashing process, you should first check the version details of the Vivo Y15s phone you want to flash. To check the version details, you can go to the following article "how to check Vivo version details via Recovery," then match them with the firmware details I use here:

- Download QcomMtk_Driver_Setup_V2.0.1.1, then extract it by right-clicking > select Extract Here and install all drivers in .exe format > right-click > select Run as administrator and install until finished.
- Download SP_Flash_Tool-5.1916_Win, then extract it in the same way as well, then run flash_tool.exe located inside the extracted SP FlashTool folder > right-click, then select Run as administrator and wait until flash_tool opens.
- Click the Choose button on Scatter-loading File, then point to the Vivo Y15s PD2140 firmware (MT6768_Android_scatter.txt), click Open, and wait until the loading process is complete. Then uncheck the Preloader section.
- Download the Auth_Bypass_Tool_v6+libUSB.
- Extract the Auth Bypass Tool file you downloaded earlier, then install LibUSB from the extracted files by right-clicking, then selecting Run as administrator and install until finished > check the Install a device filter section, then Next.
- With the Vivo Y15s powered off and the battery installed, connect it to the PC using a USB cable; it will then be detected as MediaTek/Preloader in LibUSB.
- Then quickly click the driver that appears in LibUSB, then click the Install button, then wait until the LibUSB filter driver installation process is complete.
- If the MediaTek driver has been successfully installed, disconnect the USB cable from the phone again. Next, run mtksecbypass.exe located inside the MTK_Auth_Bypass_Tool_V6 folder by right-clicking > then selecting Run as administrator and wait until it opens.
- Then click the Disable Auth button until the text waiting for brom… appears, and then repeat the process of plugging in the USB cable, as explained in step 8. Once it is connected and the driver is installed, the auth bypass process will run.
- If the Vivo Y15s Auth bypass process has been successful, the text "MTK source boot bypass success" will appear in the MTK Auth bypass tool.
- Focus back on the SP FlashTool that we opened earlier, then click the Download button on SP FlashTool. The Vivo Y15s flashing process will run automatically. Wait until the flashing process is complete without disconnecting the connection.
If the Vivo Y15s PD2140 flashing process using SP FlashTool has finished 100% without errors, a Download OK notification with a green checkmark will appear on SP FlashTool, and then you can disconnect the USB cable from the Vivo Y15s phone and turn it on as usual.
When first booting after the flashing process is complete, it will usually take longer than usual. So, just wait and make sure the battery is not low so that it does not turn off while the boot process is in progress. Wait until it enters the initial setup. That is the tutorial on how to flash the Vivo Y15s via SP FlashTool that you can try to practice yourself at home.
